Thank You Teachers

We will be celebrating the Month for Teachers this September. The Department of Education is urging us to do something, like writing article, poem, letter or making a greeting card, posting message in different networking website, that will tell the teachers how much we love them. We should thank our teachers for the unique role they had into our lives.

Here’s mine:

Dear Teachers,

I am very much thankful for all the sacrifices you had in nurturing my little mind when I was still in pre-schoool, primary, elementary and secondary school. And until I took up my college degree, you are still there sharing your knowledge, and training me to become what I am now.

I did fail in some areas of learning but I saw my self successful in most of the field.

Text Messages on Teachers Day

When my wife and I were eating our dinner last evening, she told me that last Saturday, October 4, 2008 was the day for teachers, or Teachers’ day. She suggested that I would compose text messages for teachers.

I immediately thought of text messages that can be used to greet everyone’s teachers and I composed enough text messages in my mind. But the problem is, after eating our dinner, those text messages for teachers were lost.

However, I recovered few of them like:

Junith: Honey, who are those men that teachers want to be their husband?
Selboy: Don’t have idea?
Junith: Of course, the Haba-habal driver!
Teachers’ salary is best for their husbands’ future.
Junith: Selboy, define teacher?
Selboy: Teacher is someone who sell bibingka, ice candy, botsi, cassava pie, candy in school.
